A brief history of the Milwaukee Road route from Minneapolis to the Missouri River:

06/26/21

This bridge is a standard concrete slab art deco structure, crossing 36th Avenue in South Minneapolis.
Nearly all bridges like this have been standardized for grade separation projects. This bridge contains four spans: 2 main spans and 2 approaches. Similar bridges can be seen in Chicago and Milwaukee.
The structure is showing signs of significant deterioration. However, it has not been rehabilitated like other Midtown Greenway bridges.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
